Appearances can be deceiving, especially when it comes to a person's age. Sometimes, someone looks 40 years old, but is actually 30, or vice versa. The same thing happens in wrestling. Sometimes fans are totally wrong about a wrestler's age, because their appearance simply doesn't match their age.

Currently, in WWE there are several wrestlers who look much younger than they are. Or maybe fans think he's a young wrestler because they didn't know him, or because he just made it to the main roster and people think he's a young guy with a bright future, but he's actually a veteran. So, without further ado, let's take a look at 10 current WWE wrestlers who are older than you think.
10 Finn Balor
For some reason, fans often think Finn Balor is young, but in reality, Balor will turn 42 in July. Fans seem to forget, or just don't know, that Balor started his professional career in 2002. Balor came to WWE in 2014, so maybe that's why fans think he is young, because they ignore his career before WWE. Also, Balor doesn't look like a guy who is in his 40s, and maybe that's because his physical shape is extraordinary.
9 Asuka
The skin of Asians is different, the complexion looks much smoother and cleaner than any other race, and that's why they often look younger than they are. Asuka, for example, looks like she is 30 years old, no more than 35, so it is no wonder that fans are mistaken about her age.

Aside from her looks, Asuka wrestles with as much intensity and as much energy as a wrestler in her 30s. However, it turns out that Asuka is 41 years old, and she will be 42 in September.
8 LA Knight
Believe it or not, LA Knight is 40 years old. Some fans who didn’t know him before his WWE run were thought he was younger and that he had a bright future, but he is probably in the final decade of his career. LA Knight spent most of his career outside WWE, so it is understandable if fans didn’t know about him. He had some great moments in Impact, where he won the World Championship as Eli Drake.
7 Santos Escobar
Like LA Knight, Santos Escobar made his main roster debut a few months ago, so fans often think of him as another young NXT prospect. However, Escobar is already 39 years old, so his skills should not improve as much as some think. Santos Escobar is a very talented performer, but unfortunately, he made it to the major leagues older than an average wrestler.
6 Candice LeRae
Candice LeRae will be 38 years old in September, and admittedly she wrestles like a veteran because she is very talented and her moves are clean and fluid, but because of her appearance fans often think she is younger. LeRae looks like she is between 25 and 30 years old, and also, she has worked for in WWE since 2018, so it is common for fans to think that she is young.
5 Johnny Gargano
Candice LeRae's husband, Johnny Gargano, is also older than many fans think. He will turn 36 in August, but some fans think he's around 30. Admittedly, Gargano does look younger than he is, but it also plays into the fact that he came to WWE in 2016 and trained in NXT like any Performance Center rookie, and he made it to the main roster in 2022. So, Johnny Gargano is older than some fans may think.

It may be hard to believe, but Matt Riddle is 37 years old. Maybe his gimmick and his goofy, immature attitude make fans think he's younger. Besides, he looks younger than he is, and fans are perhaps used to seeing young wrestlers, under 30, make their main roster debut, but Riddle made his debut at the age of 34. With that said, it's no wonder if you thought Matt Riddle was younger.
2 Bianca Belair
Believe it or not, Bianca Belair is already 34 years old, which means she is older than Bayley (33), Alexa Bliss (31), Sasha Banks/Mercedes Moné (31) and is just a couple of years younger than Becky Lynch (36). So, surely, you're wondering where Belair has been all this time and why she debuted after everyone else?

It is worth mentioning that Dakota Kai started her professional wrestling career in 2008, and came to WWE in 2017.
