While most tag teams are usually comprised of two people of similar size and stature, every so often, a mammoth wrestler teams up with a smaller-sized superstar to form a unique combination of speed and power. Most of these teams achieved tremendous success with that formula and often won championship gold in the process. However, some wrestlers are so big that they'd make a colossal tag team partner look average-sized in comparison.
10 The Colossal Connection
Seldom has a tag team caused such a quick and painful path of destruction the way Haku and Andre The Giant had. Dubbed The Colossal Connection, the Giant and the Tongan madman quickly made mincemeat of humanoid journeyman tag teams before colliding with Demolition and defeating them in their first encounter to bring the WWE Tag Team Titles back to The Heenan Family. Unfortunately, they weren’t so lucky at WrestleMania VI and were defeated in the big rematch.
9 Two Dudes With Attitudes
Sometimes, events occur for a reason. Those reasons create greatness. Had Shawn Michaels not caught a glimpse of Vinnie Vegas in WCW, he wouldn’t have asked Rick Steiner about Kevin Nash, which led to Nash coming to WWE.

But when the two met, they “Kliqed” instantly and within a year of debuting as Diesel, the two formed a bond that continues to this day. At one point, The Two Dudes With Attitude even briefly held all of the gold in the WWE.
8 Jeri-Show
It was a battle of the egos when Chris Jericho and Edge formed a tag team and won the Unified Tag Team Titles. But when Edge went down with an injury, Jericho was allowed to pick whatever tag team partner he wanted to replace The Rated R Superstar. He not only wisely chose The Big Show, but he was able to light a mammoth fire under The World’s Largest Athlete. It had been a long time since Show appeared as menacing as a giant is supposed to be.
7 AJ Styles & Omos
Shortly after Raw Underground faded away, AJ Styles recruited Omos to be not just a bodyguard, but his personal Colossus. Considering how many fans already compare The Phenomenal One to Shawn Michaels, many fans believed that AJ found his Diesel in Omos. When he finally made his in-ring debut, the first live crowd in over a year collectively gasped at the sight of a real-life colossus as he smashed The New Day and won the Raw Tag Team Titles.
6 The Super Heroes
What happens when you cross a clueless superhero with a mammoth Samoan? You get The Hurricane and Rosey - the superhero in training. Joined by Super Stacy, the trio was ahead of their time, predating the huge superhero craze that is all over pop culture right now.

For a few years, the team was loved by many fans and a staple of the midcard, even becoming World Tag Team Champions.
5 Kane & X-Pac
Being betrayed by both Paul Bearer and The Undertaker, Kane was being hunted by “the guys in lab coats.” Rather than watch The Big Red Machine continue to be taken advantage of, X-Pac took it upon himself to befriend the monster. Kane would speak his first words in WWE (with the help of an electrolarynx), “suck it,” and even found love with the vivacious Tori. The partnership would net X-Pac and Kane the tag team titles, but unfortunately, X-Pac would betray Kane, leading to several matches between the two, including a tag team match at WrestleMania 2000 in which Kane teamed with Rikishi to defeat X-Pac who partnered up with Road Dogg.
4 Team Hell No
X-Pac wasn’t the only lightweight to team up with Kane. The Big Red Machine perhaps found his greatest success as a tag team competitor alongside Daniel Bryan as Team Hell No. Thanks to anger management therapy between the two, they were able to come to common ground and hug it out, becoming the WWE Tag Team Champions in the process Even though they'll continuously argue “I am the tag team champion!” It was during this time as well that The Yes Movement began to grow, only adding to the popularity of the team.
3 Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler
The Queen Of Spades and The Irresistible Force first started out as two ladies willing to obliterate each other. But instead, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler would team up and dominate the women’s tag team division, even toppling The Golden Role Models for the tag team titles. In total, Baszler and Jax have held two reigns with the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, which ties the record for most reigns with those belts.
2 Jurassic Express
Who doesn’t love dinosaurs, right? As one of AEW’s first true breakout acts, Jungle Boy Jack Perry has quietly been carving out a place for himself as the heart and soul of AEW.

The crowd has a blast singing along with Baltimora’s “Tarzan Boy” whenever he and his pet dinosaur, Luchasaurus head to the ring. They haven’t been able to win the tag team titles yet, but with the crowd behind them, it’s only a matter of time.
1 Ric Flair & Batista
It’s hard to think of Ric Flair without the world title around his waist. But when he teamed up with the Animal of Evolution, Batista, he was able to capture the World Tag Team Titles. While the coal of Randy Orton was being squeezed into a diamond, Ric Flair was making sure the other rookie of Evolution would become a diamond in the rough, leading the team to two tag title reigns and a friendship that endures to this day.
