Trish and Lita actually main evented before their singles match on Raw. They were in the main event of Raw against each other with The Rock and Triple H. The Rock and Lita teamed together, and Triple H and Trish teamed together. The Rock and Lita were ultimately victorious, but this match gave Trish and Lita a bite at the main event. This match headlined the 7/30/2000 episode of Raw Is War during a time when WWE was at its peak.

Trish and Lita remember the match fondly, and they feel like it was huge for their characters. Also, they point out that they were in a legit tag match and the psychology of intergender wrestling made the match better. They feel like the WWE's current brand of mixed matches is stupid because it's like two separate matches, and it sucks the fun out of the match.

They really were the perfect contrast from their background to their looks and attitude. They were each able to play both babyface and heel, which worked every time because they had such great chemistry.

Trish and Lita have a long, storied history and a lot to be proud of in their career. Curiously, one of the things they are most proud of is their backstage brawls. Trish and Lita said they always got compliments on their backstage brawls from guys because they just went for it. They also point out that there isn't much give to concrete floors, trash cans, and garage doors. Trish and Lita ranked their backstage brawl on SmackDown in 2002 as one of their best moments. When the real-life cheating scandal between Matt Hardy and Lita got out, it affected Litas' character. She was supposed to be a babyface, but the crowd hated her, and they were really cruel to her. So cruel that it caused Trish, who was a heel, to go off script and try to defend Lita. She told the crowd not to call Lita a slut and threatened to leave. Trish tried her best to defend Lita without breaking kayfabe by trying to get heat on herself, but the segment was doomed.

After Trish tried to make peace with Lita, Lita refused to accept Trish's apology and sent Kane after Trish, which made Lita look like a jerk. Trish was unharmed, though, because Viscera came in and saved her. Also, it's not hard to see why WWE fans felt comfortable chanting distasteful words at Lita when you see the next part of the segment is Viscera using his massive size to intimidate and threaten Trish into agreeing to sexual favors. If that wasn't bad enough, he forcefully kisses Trish and is cheered as a babyface.

Often times when you are on a team or in a company, at one point or another, they will say we are a family. However, Trish and Lita haven't just talked the talk, they have walked the walk. Trish actually appointed Lita as the godmother to her son Maximus. Trish even brought her son around Lita when he was younger to get them acquainted. Lita flew out to Toronto to take part in Maximus' confirmation. As time moves on and things change, it's nice to see the friendship between Team Bestie didn't.
