For all the pro wrestling promotions around the world, there is no event that even comes close to WrestleMania in terms of scale. WrestleMania is, without a doubt, the biggest wrestling event in the world.

Over the years, it has witnessed some of the greatest wrestling moments of all time, in addition to some truly phenomenal matches. WrestleMania is more than just a wrestling pay-per-view, it is a global spectacle, and every wrestle on the roster wants to end up on the card, at least once.

Some wrestlers though, are WrestleMania mainstays, and have been consistently featured on the WrestleMania card for years. Here's 10 wrestlers with the most WrestleMania matches and their win-loss records (dark/pre-show matches included).

10 Hulk Hogan: 12 Matches (8 Wins - 3 Losses - 1 Double DQ)

Hulk Hogan is one of the biggest pro wrestling stars of all time, and was instrumental in helping establish WWE as an industry behemoth. Hogan wrestled in the main-event of the first ever Wrestlemania, teaming up with Mr.T to take on 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper and Paul Orndorff.

Hogan was the main attraction for WWE's first nine WrestleManias. Over the course of his 12 appearances overall, Hogan picked up eight wins and three losses. His match against Andre The Giant at WrestleMania IV ended in a double disqualification. Despite big losses against The Ultimate Warrior and The Rock, Hogan still managed to maintain an impressive win-loss record at the Show of Shows.

9 Chris Jericho: 14 Matches (5 Wins - 9 Losses)

Chris Jericho is widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time. Over the years, he has been able to reinvent himself on countless occasions, and managed to get a number of gimmicks to work with audiences.

Jericho was one of WWE's biggest stars during his run with the promotion, making 14 WrestleMania appearances over the years. Jericho's record isn't the greatest though, with nine losses making up for almost two-thirds of his WrestleMania appearances. He has lost to wrestlers like Triple H, Christian, CM Punk and most notably, Fandango. His last WrestleMania appearance in 2017 saw him drop the United States Championship to friend-turned-foe Kevin Owens in a decent match.

8 Bret Hart: 14 Matches (8 Wins - 6 Losses)

Over the course of his career, Bret 'The Hitman' Hart was in the main event of WrestleMania IX, X and XII. His first appearance at the event was in a 20-man Battle Royal at WrestleMania II, which he failed to win.

He then had a strong run at the event as a part of The Hart Foundation, until the team split after losing at WrestleMania VII. His best match though, was against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XII. They wrestled a fantastic 60-minute Iron Man Match, with Michaels winning in sudden-death over-time.

His match against Steve Austin at WrestleMania 13 was also phenomenal, resulting in a rare double-turn. His last match was at WrestleMania 26, where he defeated Vince McMahon in a disappointing match. The Hitman has a WrestleMania record of eight wins and six losses over 14 matches.

7 John Cena: 15 Matches (10 Wins - 5 Losses)

John Cena spent almost a decade as the face of WWE. Over the course of this period, Cena was consistently one of the best booked stars in the promotion; headlining pay-per-views and being involved in marquee feuds.

The Franchise Player has made 15 WrestleMania appearances over the course of his career, and boasts a record of 10 wins and five losses. His biggest losses including losing to The Rock at WrestleMania 28 and being squashed by The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34. His most recent appearance at the event saw him lose to 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt in a surreal, but fantastic Firefly Fun House match at WrestleMania 36.

6 Randy Orton: 16 Matches (6 Wins - 10 Losses)

Just like John Cena, Randy Orton has been one of WWE's biggest stars over the last decade. The Legend Killer has been consistently featured in marquee matches at WrestleMania, even wrestling in the main-event of the 25th and 30th editions.

However, The Viper has a poor win-loss record though, with six wins and 10 losses over 16 appearances. Orton has not won at WrestleMania since 2017, losing a fatal four-way at WrestleMania 34, and then failing to beat AJ Styles and Edge at WrestleMania 35 and 36 respectively. Regardless of his poor win-loss record, Orton is still regarded as one of the most dangerous performers in the promotion.

5 Big Show: 17 Matches (5 Wins - 12 Losses)

Big Show wrestled his first WrestleMania match at WrestleMania XV in a match against Mankind. But he had to wait seven years for his first 'Mania victory, when he teamed up with Kane to defeat Carlito and Chris Masters in tag-team action at WrestleMania 22.

Despite his extremely intimidating size and the fact that he is often booked as a threat to pretty much everyone on the roster, Big Show has lost far more than he has won at 'Mania. Despite making 17 appearances, including an Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal win, Show has only five wins to his name.

4 Shawn Michaels: 17 Matches (6 Wins - 11 Losses)

Shawn Michaels was referred to as 'Mr. WrestleMania' on multiple occasions over the course of his career. Despite his fantastic performances at the event, the Heartbreak Kid has a poor win-loss record. Michaels has wrestled 17 matches at 'Mania, losing 11 and winning just six.

But in Michaels' case, no one remembers his win-loss record. Fans instead remember him for his amazing performance in Ric Flair's final WWE match at WrestleMania 24 and the instant-classics he put on with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 and 26. The quality of his matches earned him the nickname of 'Mr.WrestleMania', not how many matches he managed to win.

3 Kane: 20 Matches (9 Wins - 11 Losses)

Kane is perhaps one of the most underrated big men of all-time. Not only was he exceptionally consistent in the ring for almost his entire career, he is regarded as the safest in-ring worker in the business.

Over his storied career, Kane made 20 WrestleMania appearances. Some of these came in the form of marquee matches against wrestlers like The Undertaker and Randy Orton, but in recent years, the Devil's Favourite Demon has mostly been relegated to making appearances in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. In those 20 appearances, Kane has picked up nine wins and 11 losses.

2 Triple H: 23 Matches (10 Wins - 13 Losses)

Triple H has been repeatedly accused of burying talent to serve his own agenda, but he still manages to hold the record for the highest number of WrestleMania losses in the company. Triple H has made 23 appearances at the event, winning 10 and losing 13, wrestling some fantastic matches along the way.

The Game has lost big matches against wrestlers like The Undertaker and Kane, while putting over stars like Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in recent years. His last WrestleMania appearance saw him defeat Batista in a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 35 that turned out to be Batista's final match as a pro wrestler, as he announced his retirement soon after.

1 The Undertaker: 27 Matches (25 Wins - 2 Losses)

While Triple H may have lost the most number of matches in WrestleMania history, The Undertaker has, by far, the most number of wins at the event. The Streak was the main attraction at Wrestlemania for years. Even after Brock Lesnar broke it at WrestleMania XXX, The Undertaker remained a fixture of the event.

His amazing 25 wins have come against the best-of-the-best, while his only other loss came at the hands of Roman Reigns in the main-event of Wrestlemania 33. His most recent appearance saw him beat AJ Styles in the phenomenal Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36, which turned out to be the final match of his career, with him announcing his retirement in the Last Ride documentary. The Undertaker's WrestleMania record is untouchable.
