The Knockouts division for TNA featured some of the top female talents from all over the world getting their chance at success. WWE had the reputation for not treating women’s wrestling seriously until recent years during the women’s evolution. Talents like Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, and Awesome Kong made the Knockouts division a special attraction for the company.

Every champion hopes to have a lengthy reign, but only a few get the best-case scenario of having the all-time longest runs. Others are forced to deal with the negative aspect of having the shortest reigns due to booking. Find out just which talents made history on both ends with the Knockouts Championship.
10 Longest: Gail Kim - 210 Days
Gail Kim made history as the only seven-time Knockouts Champion in company history and the first person to ever win the gold. TNA fans loved the work of Gail and wanted to see her lead the division to new levels of success.

The second-longest reign of Kim’s career started in 2011 when she held the title for 210 days. Gail dominated as a top heel before dropping the title to Brooke Tessmacher. The win elevated Brooke into a top spot since Kim’s outstanding reign added importance to the title change.
9 Shortest: Havok - 3 Days
TNA tried to make Havok a monster heel for the Knockouts division when pushing her in 2014. Havok had success on the independent circuit as a top heel before getting the opportunity to have a strong role in TNA.
The Knockouts Championship reign of Havok was quite short, only lasting three total days. Havok defeated Gail Kim to win the belt, but she lost it to Taryn Terrell. TNA didn’t view Havok as a long-term champion and made her transitional reign part of the story.
8 Longest: Gail Kim - 232 Days
Gail Kim had a second extremely long title reign as the Knockouts Champion at 232 days. The win over Brooke Tessmacher saw Kim having a strong reign from 2015 to 2016. Gail primarily played a face and did her best to make the title the most important part of the show.
Mia Yim’s run as Jade saw her ending Kim’s title reign to get put over as a top star. Gail had two more Knockouts Championship reigns afterwards, but this was the final major run holding the title before transitioning into a backstage role.
7 Shortest: Angelina Love - 2 Days
The TNA career of Angelina Love featured a few dominant reigns with the Knockouts Championship. Love was a consistent source of entertainment in the division from her time in The Beautiful People faction to a singles run as a face.
2010 saw Angelina winning the Knockouts Championship from Madison Rayne during one of their feuds. Love would drop the title back just two days later with Rayne regaining the title. The former Beautiful People faction members feuded for the title over a few months of trading the belt.
6 Longest: Rosemary - 265 Days
Rosemary became a breakout star for TNA with a unique character that added to the importance of the Knockouts division. The ability to do something new helped her get over and become a major player in the company.
The title was vacated following a Gail Kim injury with Rosemary defeating Jade to win the vacant title. Rosemary had a tremendous title reign lasting 265 days before ultimately dropping the belt to Sienna. The biggest surprise is that Rosemary has never had another Knockouts Championship reign since then.
5 Shortest: Allie - 1 Day
Allie became a standout talent for TNA when getting over as a face working with Maria Kanellis. The success of Allie came since the audience wanted her to succeed after Maria treated her poorly as an assistant.

Allie won the Knockouts Championship by luck in a five-way match. However, Maria demanded that Allie lay down to drop the title at the next day’s taping. The title changes were done to get more heat on Maria heading into her feud with Gail Kim. Allie had a better title run later in her career to make up for the extremely short reign before making the move to AEW in 2019.
4 Longest: Taryn Terrell - 279 Days
The success of Taryn Terrell in TNA saw her becoming a breakout star during her feud with Gail Kim. Terrell moved into a heel role for her most successful Knockouts Championship reign from 2014 into 2015 with the Dollhouse faction behind her.
The title reign lasted 279 days with Taryn gaining more heat with each defense. TNA trusted Terrell to have a strong run that did lead to success during an uncertain time. The title reign set a new record until one person topped it years later.
3 Shortest: Tara - 1 Day
Former WWE Women’s Champion Victoria made her move to TNA under the new name of Tara. TNA trusted Tara enough have to five Knockouts Championship reigns with most finding success, but one reign only lasted a single day.
Tara won the title at Bound for Glory 2010 to have an important moment on the biggest show of the year. Madison Rayne ended Tara’s title run after just one day at the next taping to start her reign as a heel champion.
2 Longest: Taya Valkyrie - 377 Days
Impact Wrestling put a lot of time and investment into making Taya Valkyrie one of the faces of the company. The huge victory to end Tessa Blanchard’s reign made Taya an important Knockouts Champion from the start.
Valkyrie held the title for over a year to set a new record at 377 days. The tremendous run helped establish her as one of the most important wrestlers in the company. Taya continued to improve her standing in the wrestling world.
1 Shortest: Gail Kim - Less Than 1 Day
Gail Kim’s legendary career in TNA featured many great moments and successful title reigns. However, the shortest Knockouts Championship reign of all-time featured Kim holding the belt for under 24 hours before vacating it.
Bound for Glory 2017 saw Gail defeating Allie and Sienna to score her record-breaking seventh title reign. The retirement of Kim saw her career ending in a great moment of winning the title she defined. Gail vacated the belt afterward with Laurel Van Ness winning the Knockouts Championship next.
