The Limitless One, Keith Lee is the name on everyone's lips in wrestling right now. He has become so incredibly popular in the past few months since his star-making Survivor Series performance. He has done so well that there is now talk of him potentially being moved to the main roster incredibly soon, despite the fact he is a major star in NXT. While it's unclear if it will actually happen, it certainly proves how popular he has become.

So, let's all bask in his glory and take a look at five reasons why Keith Lee should remain in NXT, as well as five reasons WWE should be considering a main roster call up for him.
10 Main Roster: Legitimate Heavyweight Name
Everyone knows that Vince McMahon likes a big guy. Whether it be the likes of Hulk Hogan or John Cena all the way to giants such as Big Show and even The Great Khali. If you have a certain look, you're sure to attract the WWE Chairman's attention.
Well, Keith Lee certainly has that look. He is a huge man and a legitimate heavyweight, which the current main roster doesn't have too many of. However, unlike the big men of the past, Keith Lee can also do some amazingly athletic things. The fact he has been pushed on two of WWE's biggest shows of the year proves that Vince McMahon is certainly interested in him. Given his physical appearance, there's a good chance he will be called up.
9 NXT: Ratings War
Even though Raw and SmackDown are obviously WWE's main priorities, right now the company is investing a lot of time and effort into NXT. That's because this is the only show that is involved in a weekly ratings war with legitimate competition. Each week, NXT competes against AEW and WWE is obviously determined to make sure they put out the most entertaining show possible. In order for that to happen, the company obviously wants to load up the roster and have as many major names as possible.

Because of how popular Keith Lee is, the company is obviously going to be careful about moving him away from the show. Having a popular talent like him on NXT can drag fans away from AEW, and that's a major reason for them wanting to keep him.
8 Main Roster: Freshen Things Up
Every now and then the main rosters do need freshening up with new talent. It keeps the shows interesting, provides new matches and feuds and just brings an entirely new dynamic to things.
While both Raw and SmackDown have been very entertaining in 2020 so far, there's no doubt that adding a new name to either show would grow them. Keeping people talking and getting the build towards WrestleMania as strong as possible. Given Keith Lee's incredible in-ring talent, he would certainly be able to make an impact if he was to be put onto the main roster. Adding something totally new to a show, he could really boost the excitement.
7 NXT: Dream Feuds
While we have seen Keith Lee have some amazing matches so far in NXT, he hasn't really had many major, long-term feuds. Outside of facing Damian Priest and Dominik Dijakovic several times, he's yet to have a built-up storyline with someone. That's a shame as having a long-term storyline to build around would only help Keith Lee grow as a talent. However, now he has become so popular, the chances are that will be happening.

Feuds against the likes of Adam Cole, Finn Balor, and Matt Riddle would be simply amazing and provide some unforgettable moments. Therefore him staying in NXT a little longer wouldn't be a bad thing.
6 Main Roster: Facing Brock Lesnar
We got the tease inside the 2020 Royal Rumble match and now this is the match that everybody wants to see happen for real. Keith Lee was made to look like a star when he went face to face with Brock Lesnar and held his own, really growing his name value.

Brock Lesnar did an amazing job in putting the Limitless One over, from his facial expressions and whispers to actually taking several bumps for him. The Beast established Keith Lee as someone who could genuinely beat him within just one interaction. The fact that Keith Lee is such an intimidating presence visually next to Brock Lesnar really helps, and knowing how athletic both men are, a match between them could be something special.
5 NXT: Only Just Started His Push
Pulling Keith Lee out of NXT right now would feel a little premature in the eyes of most fans. After all, even though he has been with the company for a while, it is only in the past few months he has started to get his monster push.
Now he is a big name in NXT, rather than someone who would be brought out for a competitive match to put someone else over. Because of that, it would seem a little silly to just yank him away from the brand. This is where he has worked hard to get over and he deserves the chance to really prove himself now he has got to that point.
4 Main Roster: Revive The Intercontinental Title
Right now, the Intercontinental Championship is in a sorry state. While the man holding it, Shinsuke Nakamura is a tremendous wrestler, he is yet to have one memorable feud with the championship.
The title deserves far better, and bringing someone as popular and talented as Keith Lee over to win it and bring it back to life could be the exact way to do that. It would simply bring energy and passion back to the title that most fans would really appreciate. It's such a championship with so much history and prestige that it deserves better treatment, and Keith Lee could provide that considering how over he is right now.
3 NXT: New Champion
While Keith Lee might be the man of the hour at the moment who everyone is talking about, the fact is that he's only very recently become the North American Champion. Defeating Roderick Strong in an excellent match to win the title.
Because of that, it is unlikely he will be moving from NXT anytime soon as title reigns tend to be quite long on the black and yellow brand. Therefore the chances are that Keith Lee will hold onto the title for a while. It would benefit him to have a lengthy title run as this is his first time holding a title in the company. Because of that, a long run would help establish him as a dominant champion, which would only raise his star power further.
2 Main Roster: Strike While He's Hot
A big complaint from a lot of wrestling fans is that there aren't enough genuine stars in WWE anymore. Names like John Cena or The Rock are hard to come by and when talent is incredibly over with the fans it's crucial to capitalize.
Right now after two incredible main roster appearances at Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble, Keith Lee is incredibly popular. He is getting amazing reactions and is someone that the fans want to see. WWE has the chance to create a new major star if they get him to Raw or SmackDown quick enough. It would be wise of the company to strap the rocket to him and make sure that he becomes a major name sooner than later.
1 NXT: Becoming NXT Champion
While Keith Lee is doing an amazing job right now as North American Champion, there is no doubt that fans would like to see him become the NXT Champion at some point. Establishing himself as the number one name in the entire brand would be a huge step for him and would prove just how much faith the company has in him.
This opportunity would be invaluable before putting him on Raw or SmackDown to mix it up with those rosters. It would also help establish him as one of NXT's greatest before he leaves the brand for good.
