Long after humanity has ceased to exist and aliens are ruling the galaxy, Impact Wrestling will somehow be running shows. Despite all the ups and downs since its creation in 2002, it's had many homes, from Spike TV to YouTube. They've been many controversies, many terrible storylines, and namely, a lot of bad talent.

Much of that talent, was unsafe as well, as the company has given a lot of air time to a lot of terrible wrestlers over the years. That being said, there's also been a lot of incredible athletes and safe performers that's been seen in the Impact Wrestling ring over the years.
10 Reckless: Jeff Hardy
To be fair to Jeff Hardy, the majority of his career saw him be unsafe, but only towards himself. The high-flyer has had some crazy stunts over the years where incredibly, both himself and his opponent were able to escape the match without injury.
In Impact Wrestling, Hardy seemingly took his job less seriously, best evidenced by his showing up under the influence for his match against Sting at Victory Road 2011. While that match turned out to be a squash, it was still unsafe for him to wrestle in that condition. Scott Steiner would sue TNA, claiming that Jeff injured him whilst under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
9 Safe: Ric Flair
Ric Flair is one of the safest wrestlers of all time and even kept opponents safe in his late age. Just a short time after retiring against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 24, the Nature Boy signed to TNA to resume his in-ring career.
The fact that Flair continued to put on good matches approaching the age of 60 speaks to his greatness and his safe style. It's also the reason why he was able to return to the ring last year at the age of 73. Granted, that match was far from good.
8 Reckless: The Nasty Boys
While The Nasty Boys aren't really known as TNA wrestlers, they did have a brief stint in the company in 2010. Granted, by that time, the team of Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags was far past their prime, which is why their time in the promotion was brief.
That's probably for the best as well, as they weren't exactly the safest performers in or out of the ring. Both men had a reputation for working extremely stiff and for being aggressive outside the ring. Once, they even got into a brawl with Ken Shamrock in a hotel.
7 Safe: AJ Styles
AJ Styles is interesting in that, he's actually been in several matches where his opponents were injured. However, the reason is that his opponents took his finisher, the Styles Clash, the incorrect way, and landed on their necks.
But even then, that's not Styles' fault. The former TNA champion is one of the safer wrestlers in the business and takes good care of all the opponents he's worked with over the years. His safe style has likely aided him in being an incredible worker today, as he's 45 years old but showing no signs of slowing down.
6 Reckless: Sabu
Sabu is one of the most beloved hardcore professional wrestlers ever. Having a career that spanned decades and saw him put on incredible matches in WWE, ECW, Impact, and more, the high-flyer took a lot of bumps over the years.
However, you don't get that notorious reputation of a hardcore wrestler without mistakes over the years. Sabu also cultivated a reputation of being an unsafe worker, as he, and others suffered injuries as a result of botched moves. Funnily enough, some of those botches were on purpose by the high-flyer, to give the matches an authentic feel.
5 Safe: Diamond Dallas Page
Despite starting his career in professional wrestling as a ringside manager, Diamond Dallas Page eventually soared to the top of the card despite beginning his training in his late 30s. He would go on to have several incredible matches with names such as Goldberg and Randy Savage, having memorable stints in WCW, WWE, and Impact Wrestling.

While many don't know it, Page continued wrestling all the way until 2020, retiring in his 60s. While his late start in the ring helped matters, he was also an extremely careful wrestler that took good care of his opponents in the ring.
4 Reckless: New Jack
Granted, New Jack isn't remembered as much of a TNA talent as he is an ECW one, but he still had two stints with the company. The hardcore legend worked for the promotion not long after its inception in 2003, and later returned after seven years for their Hardcore Justice pay-per-view.
Regardless, Jack is commonly noted as one of the most reckless and unsafe performers to ever step in the ring. While other wrestlers are unsafe due to botches or inconsistency, the ECW legend wasn't like that. He would be unsafe by seriously fighting and assaulting his opponents.
3 Safe: Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan was mostly held together by tape and glue by the time he made it to TNA in 2009. That being said, he still had several matches in the promotion, including a high-profile clash with Sting at Bound For Glory 2011. That outing went down as Hogan's final broadcasted match.

Nonetheless, Hogan is regarded as one of the safest wrestlers, and for good reason. He generally only did a few moves and didn't deal much damage to opponents, which helped him work into his late age.
2 Reckless: Scott Steiner
Big Poppa Pump is one of the more beloved figures in Impact Wrestling history. Scott Steiner worked for the company for nearly a decade, with his time in the Main Event Mafia being some of the best work of his career.
While Steiner is very beloved, he wasn't exactly a popular figure in the locker room. The former TNA World Tag Team Champion had a bit of a reputation for being a hothead and fought several of his fellow wrestlers over the years.
1 Safe: Sting
To put into perspective, when Sting made his wrestling debut, Ronald Reagan was president. Tickets to a movie were less than four dollars, and Darby Allin was nearly a decade away from being born. Simply put, Sting has been around for a long time.
You don't make it that long without being one of the safer workers in the business. Even today, Sting continues to perform and is doing some of his best work in years in AEW.
