Unlike the earlier eras, women's wrestling has reached a whole new level in the pro wrestling industry, at present, the promotions have started giving equal importance to female wrestlers in terms of both monetary and storyline wise.

WWE and AEW have two of the best women's division in the industry at present, and the female wrestlers of both companies are proving that they are capable of drawing more money than the male wrestlers.' With that said, let's take a look at ten successful wrestlers from the WWE women's division and look at their counterparts from the All Elite Wrestling women's roster.
10 Iyo Sky
Iyo Sky is one of the most talented wrestlers in the current WWE women's division. She made a name for herself in NXT and went on to become the NXT Women's Champion, and also put on great matches against different opponents in the black and gold brand.
She's currently part of the Damage CTRL faction alongside Bayley and Dakota Kai and is the current reigning WWE Women's Tag Team Champion. The Japanese wrestler has achieved tons of success in other promotions as well, and she's replicating the same with her current WWE run.
9 Her AEW Counterpart - Riho
Similar to Iyo Sky, Riho is making an impact on the AEW women's division with her incredible in-ring skills. She's the former and inaugural AEW Women's World Champion and comes from a similar Japanese background as well.
Both Iyo Sky and Riho have achieved an equal level of accolades in their respective companies, and the latter has also made a name for herself wrestling in the independent circuit and has also won numerous championships across multiple independent promotions.
8 Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan made her WWE debut in 2014 in NXT and worked her way up the ladder to the WWE main roster in 2017. She was part of The Riott Squad alongside Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan and took some time to find her balance among the other big names in the WWE women's division.

After she found solid ground, she spread her wings and showed the world what she was capable of and went on to win the MITB ladder match and then the SmackDown Women's Championship.
7 Her AEW Counterpart - Toni Storm
Toni Storm had a similar journey to the main event picture like Liv Morgan. She was also part of the WWE NXT system and competed in NXT UK, where she became the NXT UK Women's Champion.
She didn't have a good outing on the WWE main roster and ended up leaving for AEW earlier this year. Storm became an instant hit in AEW as she went on to become the Interim AEW Women's World Champion, a reign which AEW recognized as an official one after Thunder Rosa relinquished the title.
6 Asuka
Next on the list is The Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka, who is one of the inevitable members of the current WWE women's division. She made her WWE debut in 2015 and enjoyed a lengthy and undefeated run as the NXT Women's Champion.
She had a mixed run on the main roster in the beginning, but she quickly picked up the pace and went on to become a multiple-time women's champion and women's tag team champion on the main roster. She was a legendary name in the Japanese circuit, and she's replicating the same success with her current WWE run as well.
5 Her AEW Counterpart - Hikaru Shida
Asuka's AEW counterpart is fellow Japanese star, friend, rival, and former AEW Women's World Champion Hikaru Shida. Similar to Asuka, Shida has also a background competing in the Japanese independent circuit before finding her way to the US.
She signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and was one of the first wrestlers to become part of the company following its inception the same year. She quickly went on to ink her name in history when she won the AEW Women's World Championship and held it for an impressive 372 days before dropping it to Britt Baker.
4 Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair signed with WWE in 2016 and trained at the company's Performance Center before making her debut for NXT. She got called up to the main roster in 2020 and quickly went on to establish herself as the EST of WWE and gained tons of fan following for herself.

Her exceptional athleticism and in-ring talent caught the eyes of the backstage officials, and she won the 2021 Women's Royal Rumble and defeated Sasha Banks to win the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 37. She's currently the reigning Raw Women's Champion and is continuing her dominant run in WWE and is showing no signs of slowing down.
3 Her AEW Counterpart - Jade Cargill
Jade Cargill is also an exceptional athlete similar to Bianca Belair, and she is the current reigning and inaugural AEW TBS Champion and is also enjoying a dominant undefeated streak in AEW.
She broke into the pro wrestling industry in 2021 and went on to achieve this level of success within a single year. She continues to train under the likes of Bryan Danielson and is improving her skills day by day. But her current AEW run makes her look nothing like a newbie as she's dominating her opponents on a regular basis and has established herself as the next big thing.
2 Becky Lynch
Becky Lynch started her WWE career as the babyface Irish Lass Kicker and enjoyed only little to medium success in her early days in the company. She constantly got overshadowed by the other three horsewomen Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair.
But a heel turn at the 2018 SummerSlam PPV increased her stock in the company as she established herself as The Man and quickly became the biggest female superstar in the WWE women's division. She made history by going on to the main event of WrestleMania 35 alongside Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair and walked out of that event as the undisputed WWE Women's Champion.
1 Her AEW Counterpart - Britt Baker
Britt Baker is the perfect AEW counterpart of Becky Lynch, as the two wrestlers share similar traits and career paths and are, at present, the faces of their respective women's divisions.
Britt Baker signed with AEW in 2019 and was the first female wrestler to sign with the company. She quickly established herself as the face of the AEW women's division and went on to hold the AEW Women's World Championship for an impressive 290 days. AEW continues to book her in prominent spots on the weekly shows, and we can expect to see her re-enter the AEW Women's world title picture in the coming days as her ally Jamie Hayter currently holds the title.
