When Brock Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012 after eight years, he went after the face of the company, John Cena. The two titans locked horns in an Extreme Rules match at 2012 Extreme Rules.

It was a hard-hitting match with a lot of blood, as Cena was covered in blood from the start of the bout. As a matter of fact, The Beast Incarnate dominated a majority of the match, but Cena got the momentum on his way in the climax of the match. Cena connected an AA on the steel steps, resulting in a successful pinfall to win the match.

9 John Cena Vs The Great Khali ( One Night Stand 2007)

John Cena, then the WWE Champion, defended the belt against The Great Khali in a Falls Count Anywhere match at 2007 One Night Stand.

Cena overcame the Indian giant, despite getting dominated by the latter. When they were exchanging punches on a crane, Cena picked him up and delivered an AA to Khali from the top of the crane to win the match.

8 John Cena Vs Braun Strowman Vs Elias ( RAW, February 5, 2018)

John Cena, Braun Strowman, and Elias crossed paths in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match on an episode of RAW. Even though Elias won the match by pinning Cena, the latter demonstrated his incredible strength in the middle of the match.

Cena and Elias teamed up to take down the big man Strowman. After getting hit by a guitar, The Monster among Men looked helpless. Seeing the opportunity, Cena picked up the 400 pounders on his shoulder to give an impressive AA on the steel steps.

7 John Cena Vs Seth Rollins ( TLC 2014)

John Cena wrestled Seth Roins in a Tables match at 2014 TLC. It was an entertaining and lengthy match with a number of interferences. First, Jamie and Joey interrupted and then, Big Show and Roman Reigns did the same.

When Rollins set up a table for Cena, the latter countered and the referee also got knocked out. Rollins was attempting to Stomp Cena on the table from the top rope, but Cena quickly got up and grabbed Rollins from the second rope to deliver a vicious AA on the table.

Wade Barrett, the leader of The Nexus, wrestled John Cena in a Chairs Match at 2010 TLC. Despite the bizarre stipulation, match was outstanding and hard-hitting. Barrett started to dominate from the beginning but Cena started getting momentum slowly.

The best moment of the bout came at the last stage when Cena unfolded six steel chairs to make a bed with three chairs on each side. Then Cena picked up Barret and gave a brutal Attitude Adjustment through the bed of steel chairs, which was enough to get the win.

5 John Cena Vs Edge (Unforgiven 2006)

The feud between John Cena and Edge was certainly one of the best feuds of the Ruthless Aggression Era with their best match occurring at Unforgiven 2006. Edge, who was the WWE Championship holder, defended the belt in a TLC match in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.

With Lita in the ringside, she attempted to turn the match in Edge's favor, but it didn't happen. The match had a jaw-dropping ending. When Cena was climbing the ladder, Edge also did the same, and both men began exchanging blows on the ladder. Cena's AA from the top of the ladder put Edge through two tables, and Cena won the title.

4 John Cena Vs Ryback (Payback 2013)

It's been largely forgotten about, but Ryback received a main event push in 2013, challenging the WWE Championship a few times.

Cena defended the gold against the Big Guy at Payback, where they met in a Three Stages of Hell match. While Ryback won the Lumberjack match, Cena evened the score in the Tables match, and hence, the Ambulance match became the decider. Cena retained the belt when he gave Ryback an Attitude Adjustment on the roof of the ambulance.

2 John Cena Vs Batista (Over The Limit 2010)

John Cena put the WWE Title on the line against Batista in an 'I Quit' match at 2010 Over The Limit.

It was a brutal battle of the two behemoths, and they brawled not only in the ring but also in the crowd. In the end, Cena delivered an AA on the front of a car, but Batista refused to quit. Consequently, Cena dragged him to the roof of the car when Batista did quit. However, it was too late for The Animal, as Cena still executed an AA from the top of the car.

1 John Cena Vs Edge Vs Big Show (WrestleMania 25)

A World Heavyweight Championship match between Edge, Big Show, and John Cena took place at WrestleMania 25. Edge was the champion, and he defended the belt in that triple threat match.

While the match was decent, John Cena stole the show at the end. Cena showed his superhuman power once again by picking both Big Show and Edge at the same time. The fans were certainly awestruck seeing Cena lift a combined weight of nearly 700 pounds to deliver an AA to both men.
