WWE is apparently ready to call up a couple of NXT talents to the main roster. According to a report by Fightful Select, both Cameron Grimes and Von Wagner could make their way up to either Raw or SmackDown in the near future, if not right away. The report suggests that both have been mentioned among the prominent names who could soon arrive and be ready for a permanent placement on one of the company's two top shows. Both have made appearances on the main roster shows before. Neither got to stick around. That could change if this news is accurate. In particular, Grimes has not wrestled on NXT in over a month and it was said that once his latest feud closed off, he could be on his way to Raw or SmackDown. He last wrestled for the main roster in October and during a Main Event debut win over Akira Tozawa. Not much has been heard from him since. Meanwhile, Wagner has actually wrestled on NXT programming, losing in an Iron Survivor Challenge qualifying match to Axiom just last week.

Of the two, Grimes is more polished and likely has a character WWE can work with. Wagner might be paired with another star and treated in somewhat of a bodyguard role.

When Will They Debut?

One of these men could show up as early as tonight's Monday Night Raw episode. That certainly isn't a given and with the Royal Rumble right around the corner, it would make sense if WWE chose to hold off for that event for at least one of these two men. But, there has been talk of a steadier flow of NXT stars making their way up to Raw or SmackDown in the coming weeks and months. No one should be surprised if these two are on that list.
