Former Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax was reportedly involved in yet another regrettable poor spot this week. It's been claimed that Kairi Sane was injured during her No.1 contender match during the tapings for next week's Raw episode.

Jax threw Kairi onto the ring stairs and the latter got her head busted open when it came into contact with the corner of one of the steps.

Sane was able to finish the match after receiving medical treatment and, per Dave Meltzer, there's no heat on Jax as no one blames her for the incident.

“Everyone I have talked to have said that no one is blaming Nia Jax," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio (H/T Sportskeeda.com). This was not Nia Jax’s fault even though other things have been. Basically, Kairi Sane got whipped into the ring steps. One person said that she may have stumbled, she was trying to take it on her side, she did take it on her side. Her head did hit the steps. One person told me she was in control of her bump and she made it look too good.

“She was trying to avoid her head hitting the steps, her head hit the steps. She was bloodied up. She was knocked silly. She’s okay — now okay doesn’t necessarily mean she doesn’t have a concussion. I don’t know if she does or if she doesn’t, but she’s okay. If she has another concussion you know coming off of the last one it’s not that okay.”

Nia Has A History

While it's been suggested that Nia is not the one to blame for Sane's injury, she has been involved in several botches leading to injuries in the past, including one involving Sane a few weeks ago, when she threw her into a turnbuckle.

Fans would recall the time she left Becky Lynch with a bloodied face after punching her during SmackDown's Raw invasion ahead of Survivor Series in 2018.
