Brodie Lee Jr. has every intention to take AEW up on their offer as it pertains to becoming a wrestler on the brand when he hits adulthood. The eight-year-old is already pretty popular, having made numerous appearances for AEW since the unfortunate passing of his father Jon Huber A.K.A Brodie Lee.
Huber, who went by the name Luke Harper during his time with WWE, passed away due to a lung issue in December. News of Huber's death sent shockwaves through the wrestling world as there were very few people who knew of his condition in the days leading to his untimely passing.

AEW has been looking out for the young boy and his mother and has already put a pro wrestling contract on the table which he can fulfill when he turns 18. He was also named TNT Champion for Life at the end of 2020.
Amanda Huber, Brodie Lee's widow, has since explained that school is top priority for the youngster and he won't be engaging in serious training or taking bookings. However, he's been making frequent appearances on AEW TV, though it's understood he can only do so as long as he gets good grades in school.
Brodie Lee Jr. Doesn't See Himself Doing Anything Else
Brodie Lee Jr. recently made it clear that he fully intends to become a professional wrestler once he grows up.
The boy, who also goes by the name Negative One, was featured in an interview with a member of the Dark Order on the AEW Unrestricted podcast during fan fest on the weekend of Double or Nothing.
Asked if he was looking to follow in his dad's footsteps, he indicated that there's no chance he could be anything but a wrestler.
“There is zero percent chance I’m going to be anything else but a professional wrestler," he said in quotes picked up by WerestlingNews.co." I have been doing wrestling since I was one. I’ve watched wrestling since I was one. I’ve done it, and I’m going to do it because my dad did it. I’m not going to stop and not relive his legacy.”
