This week AEW’s Rampage was the final Night of Fyter Fest, serving as the go home show for ROH’s Death Before Dishonor, and featured hype for: the Ring of Honor World Championship match between Claudio & Gresham, the TV Championship match between Jay Lethal & Samoa Joe, and much more.

Winner: Hangman Adam Page & Meat-man John Silver

The Hangman joins the Meat-Man in his newly formed feud with the man called THE BUTCHER. This week saw the Butcher do considerable damage to the Meat-Man John Silver, but with the help of Dark Order quiet savior, former AEW World Champion Adam Page, Silver was able to pull of the victory against the mercenaries Butcher& Blade. A solid opening tag match that may not have been as good as some of the absolute classics that have opened Rampage in the past, but very good none the less. Silver & Page continue to be an intriguing & unusual paring with great chemistry.

Loser: Dante Martin

The two proteges of Matt Sydal went head to head in the name of peace, love, and pro wrestling. It was however, underhanded tactics from Moriarty that were enough to secure the victory over the perennial fresh faced babyface. Stokley Hathaway watched from the Ramp-way as a seemingly more aggressive Lee Moriarty left no stone unturned in getting the job done against one of 2022’s hottest young up and comers in Martin.

Winner: Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter

The Dentist and her Hench-women Jamie Hayter were able to make quick work of the team of Ashley D’Amboise & Skye Blue. Dr. Britt Baker DMD was able to apply the Lockjaw to *** after only a few minutes of action. Baker continues to have her eyes locked on the AEW Women’;s Championship, and the team of ThunderStorm. Jim Ross mentioned before the match that Hayter & Baker had never been successful as a tag team, making this the first tag team victory for Britt and Jamie as a team.

Loser: Austin Gunn

Austin found himself outclassed on the mic in the rap battle against Max Caster of the acclaimed. He was insulted, his father was insulted, his whole family was insulted. After that match Austin and his family would try to save some face with an attack on the Acclaimed as well as the judge of the Rep Battle who had declared Austin the loser after choking in his final response. Austin may have lost the battle, but it was him and his family left standing tall at the end of the segment.

Winner: Jay Lethal

Christopher Daniels was looking for some level of revenge for his friend Samoa Joe, as Letha continued to talk about Joe while the current ROH Television Champion wasn’t in the building to defend himself. While the two legends of Ring Of Honor put on a main event worthy match serving as throwback to early Ring Of Honor of the mid 2000’s, Daniels was unsuccessful in gaining vengeance on Lethal. Not only did Letha gain the pinfall victory over Daniel, helping build momentum towards his ROH TV title ,match with Joe, but also sending a message to Joe with the beat-down and choke out of Daniels after the match.

  • Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter def. Skye Blue & Ashley D’Amboise via submission with Lockjaw

  • RAP BATTLE Max Caster def. Austin Gunn
  • After the Battle Billy Gunn punched the judge of the Rap Battle in the face and the Gunn Club attacked the Acclaimed. The attack involved a steel trash can and ended with the Gunn Club standing tall in victory.
  • Mark Henry moderated pre-match split-screen promos between Jay Lethal and Christopher Daniels before their Main Event match.
  • Jay Lethal (w/Sonjay Dutt & Satnim Singh) def. Christopher Daniels via pinfall with a Lethal Injection
  • After the match Sonjay and Satnim Singh continued the beatdown on the Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels. Lethal then put Daniels in the Kokina clucth as Rampage went off the air.
