Unsurprisingly, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will reportedly headline another one of WWE's upcoming marquee pay-per-view events.

The Tribal Chief won't be part of the Extreme Rules 2022 card next Saturday (in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania), but he is scheduled to defend his championship belts against YouTube star Logan Paul at the Nov. 5 Crown Jewel pay-per-view. That show will take place at Mrsool Park Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The 37-year-old Reigns has been working a reduced schedule (house shows, Raw/SmackDown shows and pay-per-views) under his new WWE contract. But he'll reportedly be at the Survivor Series 2022 pay-per-view, which will run at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Nov. 26.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required), Dave Meltzer reported that at this time, The Tribal Chief is "scheduled to headline" Survivor Series 2022.

It's unclear who Reigns will face at the event, but the bottom line is that he'll supposedly headline his third straight WWE Survivor Series show. In the main event of Survivor Series 2020, The Tribal Chief defeated then-WWE Champion Drew McIntyre in a champion vs. champion match.

At last year's Survivor Series event, the Universal Champion defeated then-WWE Champion Big E. Reigns hasn't been pinned in over 1,000 days now, last losing to King Corbin at the TLC 2019 pay-per-view. On Aug. 30, he also hit the two-year milestone for his current Universal Championship reign.

Plenty Of Options For Reigns' Survivor Series Opponent

If Reigns' match at Survivor Series is a singles bout, there won't be a shortage of enticing options for WWE. They could always run it back with McIntyre, who lost to Reigns in a thrilling Clash at the Castle bout earlier this month. Goldberg, AJ Styles, Karrion Kross, Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley, Matt Riddle and Seth Rollins are also compelling options to challenge the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at Survivor Series. It'll be interesting to see which superstar(s) WWE settles on.
