It's not clear how WWE intends to pull it off, but during Monday's episode of Raw, Ezekiel said that Elias will be packing up his guitar and heading to Raw next week. In other words, the bearded drifter will be making a live appearance after months away and "his younger brother" filling in while he's been gone.

As everyone but Kevin Owens pretends not to know, Ezekiel is Elias. The only difference is he's clean-shaven, his hair is shorter and other features are not the same. While one might imagine Ezekiel might be able to grow shades of a beard in seven days, to have a full-body beard as long as Elias did seems impossible. That means, either WWE is planning on swerving everyone with this Elias announcement, they are going the makeup route, or planning some pre-recorded footage with some kind of special effects. The former feels most likely.

That said, Ezekiel claims he's not a liar and he did say that Elias was so excited about Money in the Bank that his plan was to be at Raw next week. Ezekiel said he wants in the Money in the Bank match. He then said he had some breaking news and noted he reached out and got a hold of his older brother and he is so excited, he was coming next week. The announcers said, "this could be the proof we need." Ezekiel said Elias is looking good and cannot wait to remind the entire world that WWE stands for "Walk With Elias".

Reason To Tune In Next Week

If fans needed a reason to check out Raw for next Monday, they have it now. If for no other reason than to see how WWE proceeds with the idea of having Elias back, what are they planning? The hint that Elias is looking good, but aged suggests something will be off. Will a different person be playing the character? Will he not look the same as he did when he left? Fans will have to wait and see.

WWE has actually posted an article on WWE.com that Elias will be performing. They write, "The WWE Universe will once again “Walk with Elias” as Ezekiel’s older brother returns to perform one more concert." They add, "Will the two brothers put on the concert of a lifetime, or will a skeptical Kevin Owens interrupt the reunion?"
