Seth Rollins is one of the best in-ring workers of his generation and that is why it's no surprise that he has thrived ever since arriving on the main roster in WWE. Rollins has consistently worked at the top level of the main roster, getting to compete at all the top PPVs with major matches.

That includes SummerSlam, which just so happens to be an event where Rollins has put on some of his best work. His matches at this event have always been sublime, proving exactly why he deserves to be in the top spots when the show rolls around each year. But which of Seth's excellent SummerSlam matches are the best of his career?
7 Seth Rollins & Deam Ambrose vs The Bar (2017)
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose have obviously teamed up countless times over the years, but this wasn't a Shield moment. Instead, it was just a genuine time for them to return and team up. Seeing them back together made the fans love this match before it even began, but the overall quality only increased that.

The Bar was always able to deliver with hard-hitting action and bringing that with Seth's technical ability really worked wonders. It was a competitive match that really put all four men over, which is is the sign of great encounter.
6 Seth Rollins vs Dean Ambrose (2014)
This match wasn't given a ton of time on the show, and because of that, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose just went at a frantic pace. With this being a lumberjack match, there was plenty of time for shenanigans to take place on the outside, and that's exactly what happened.
It was chaotic, and Rollins got a cheap victory by using his Money in the Bank briefcase, but it was also a ton of fun. They brawled and really pushed the hate that they had for each other at this point which was exactly what needed to happen.
5 Seth Rollins vs Dominik Mysterio (2020)
The most recent match of Seth Rollins' SummerSlam career saw him battle against Dominik Mysterio in his wrestling debut. To say it was Dominik's first-ever match, people wouldn't have been able to tell with such a tremendous street fight.
The emotional aspect of this match was just as good as the action though, especially with Rey Mysterio being forced to watch on the outside, handcuffed to the ropes. They took some great bumps and Seth really helped to guide Dominik to a fantastic match.
4 Seth Rollins vs John Cena (2015)
This was a huge match on the card that year, with both the WWE and United States Championships on the line at the same time. It had a really big fight feel about it and Seth Rollins and John Cena delivered on making sure that the match lived up to that.

They stacked this match with some incredible near falls that really brought the fans to their feet. The only thing that really stopped this becoming incredible was the fact that Jon Stewart appeared and got involved in the finish, ensuring it wasn't a clean one.
3 Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor (2016)
Much like the previous entry, this bout was also a massive one as it was the first-ever Universal Championship match. It was near the top of the card and saw two of the very best tear it up in what was a really competitive back and forth match.
Finn Balor sadly got hurt here, but he fought through that and as he was fresh on the main roster, the audience was firmly on board for it. The only thing stopping this match being better was the fans' obsession with the title design, which did take away slightly from what was an awesome match.
2 Seth Rollins vs Dolph Ziggler (2018)
From the main event to the opening match, Seth Rollins has competed all across the card at SummerSlam. However, this Intercontinental Championship match was absolutely amazing, and while it might have been the opening match, it nearly stole the entire show.

The fact that almost nothing was able to follow this showcases just how good it was. Both men went back and forth in a really technical match, keeping the pace high with the fans going crazy throughout, which really made for a fun encounter.
1 Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar (2019)
Brock Lesnar always delivers in high-quality matches when he is motivated, and that was certainly the case during this SummerSlam main event. They had a short match at WrestleMania earlier in the year, but that felt more like an angle with the pre-match beatdown.
Therefore this was the match that everyone was really wanting to see and it was an incredible one. Brock was selling all over for Rollins to make him look great, while Seth himself brought tons of fire to make sure that this match was packed with energy that really made it exciting to watch. They had fantastic chemistry and were able to go back and forth with a match that really stole the show.
