Former WWE superstar Naomi recently made her IMPACT Wrestling debut under her birth name, Trinity. Before moving to IMPACT, Trinity spent the entirety of her wrestling career in WWE; she signed with the company in 2009 and rose through the ranks to become a fan favorite in the women's division. During her tenure with the company, she became a two-time Smackdown Women's Champion and a Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Sasha Banks (now known as Mercedes Mone).

During an interview with Busted Open Radio, Trinity discussed why she decided to leave WWE after over a decade of working for the company. The following transcription has been provided by Wrestling Observer Network:
Ultimately, I left that day because of the way I was talked to and handled. Everything kind of just broke me that day. It had nothing to do with anything else, anybody else. That was just it, I had to.To go through all the backlash and the negativity and the lies and the rumors and then to also just kind of feel lost, it broke me. It was probably the lowest I've ever felt in my life. But going through that, it made me reset and face it head on and figure out how to learn from this experience, grow from it, just find myself again in all of it.
Trinity's first promo with IMPACT is set to air tomorrow night at 8/7c on AXS TV.
