Goldberg was mistaken for fellow WWE Hall of Famer 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin during a recent segment on CNN.

The 55-year-old Goldberg posted a video of the mistake on his Instagram page. An auto expert states in the news segment that Dodge is looking for a "Donut Maker", adding that "'Stone Cold' Steve Austin is the guy behind it."

What follows is a montage of Goldberg photos and video clips. You can see the slip-up below:

If it makes Goldberg feel better, Austin knows exactly what the feeling is like. Back in August 2018, Austin tweeted that he was mistaken for Goldberg while eating at a Denny's restaurant:

Goldberg and Austin never actually faced off in a match. The latter was retired from professional wrestling by the time Goldberg had established himself in WWE. The Texas Rattlesnake, however, served as the special guest referee for Goldberg's WrestleMania 20 bout against Brock Lesnar.

That match was widely viewed as a disappointment. The crowd at Madison Square Garden loudly heckled and booed the two men, knowing that Goldberg and Lesnar were both about to leave the WWE. Their feud would get renewed 12 years later at Survivor Series 2016, with Goldberg squashing Lesnar in the main event. The final chapter of Lesnar vs. Goldberg took place at WrestleMania 34, with the former finally getting past the wrestling icon to become the new Universal Champion.

Goldberg Will Next Face Roman Reigns At Elimination Chamber

Goldberg is set to take on Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Saturday's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It should be noted that this is the final match on Goldberg's WWE contract, though the Hall of Famer hasn't provided any hints that he's ready to retire. If Reigns successfully defends the title, he'll go on to face men's Royal Rumble winner Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.
