Henry presents himself as extremely self-assured, erudite, and quirky in a way that is endearing to Richard and Julian's other students but seems suspicious to outsiders. Machiavellian, ascetic, he is a perfectionist, very brilliant, very erratic and enigmatic. Well over six feet, Henry is dark-haired, blue-eyed, with a square jaw and coarse, pale skin. He wears glasses.
