This week’s AEW Dynamite saw the return of the annual AEW Fight For The Fallen special event. This year Fight For The Fallen would be live from Worcester, MA, and feature multiple championship matches including Moxley’s Interim AEW Championship, Thunder Rosa’s AEW Women’s Championship, and Ricky Starks’ FTW Championship. This would also be the in-ring return of American Dragon Bryan Danielson against Jericho Appreciation Society’s Daniel Garcia.

Winner: Jon Moxley

Not many days removed from throwing his own brother around with no remorse at Death Before Dishonor, RUSH brought the fight to Moxley on Dynamite tonight in the way Mox often speaks about looking for. Moxley found that fight tonight, and then some. With the AEW Championship on the line, Moxley was able to pull off a victory despite a very strong showing from a newly arrived Rush. Jericho’s challenge to Moxley after the match serves as Moxley’s next big hurdle in his wait to unify his belt with that of CM Punk. Jericho vs Moxley will be a rematch of when Moxley won his first AEW Championship from the former Le Champion.

Loser: Danhausen

Absolute Ricky Starks was back with another impressive entrance video package. Even more impressive was his in-ring acumen. Starks would put the very silly Danhausen down for the three count quite quickly, despite a strong first sixty seconds from the red-eyed gremlin. Starks would end the nighthausen of his very nice challenger and would continue his open challenge calling out anybody else. The open challenge would sadly be answered by HOOK.

Winner: HOOK

Team Taz is in shambles. HOOK would come out after his friend Danhausen was soundly defeated by the Stroke Daddy Ricky Starks. FTW Champion and fellow Team Taz member at the time. HOOK would go back and forth with Starks before landing a few suplexes and the choke of his father. Starks taps out making HOOK the new FTW Champion. Hobbes then turns on Starks after all of this happens. HOOK is champion, but at what cost.

Loser: Miyu Yamashita

In what may have been the match f the night, Miyu Yamashita was unable to recreate whatever magic she was able to pull off in this pairing's first meeting across the ocean in Japan. Despite landing many of the famous head-kicks that led to Yamashita’s first win over Rosa, it was not enough on this night, and it would be Yamashita falling victim to the same Fire Thunder Driver that has led to much of Thunder’s recent success.

Winner: Daniel Garcia

Garcia was able to rain on the parade set to welcome back Bryan Danielson to a wrestling ring. A Great back-and-forth match between two of AEW’s best pure wrestlers eventually ended with Garcia capitalizing on the cheating ways of a hidden Jake Hager under the ring. Slight revenge after Garcia’s loss this past week to Blackpool Combat Club’s Wheeler Yuta. This episode of Dynamite ends with Garcia’s hand raised victoriously.

  • After the match, Jericho Appreciation Society comes out to confront Moxley. Chris Jericho says he wants his rematch with Moxley for the championship. Moxley says he wants the lion heart.

  • Backstage Tony Schiavone interview with Dante Martin. Martin says he's been working hard to earn respect. He is also bringing Sky Blue for backup
  • Ricky Starks def. Danhausen via pinfall with a spear to retain the FTW Championship
  • After the match, Starks calls out the next challenger for his FTW Championship. HOOK answered.
  • HOOK def. Ricky Starks via submission with REDRUM to become the NEW FTW Champion
  • After the match Starks cut a heartfelt speech about bringing prominence back to the FTW title, then Hobbes turned on and attacked him.
  • The Acclaimed backstage talking about the Gunn Club and releasing a new music video leading up to their match
  • Sammy Guevara def. Dante Martin via pinfall with a GTH
  • After the match, Sammy continued the assault going for a 630 but was stopped by Skye Blue. Anna Jay then came down and attacked Blue from behind. Kingston, Ruby Soho, and Ortiz hit the ring running everyone off.
  • Backstage Schiavone interviewing Daniel Garcia. Garcia says he's the best technical spots entertainer of all time
  • In the parking lot Jay Lethal, Satnim Singh, and Sonjay Dutt set up a trios match against the Best Friends for this week's Rampage. Sonjay is worried.
  • Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus with Tony Schiavone in the ring. JB had harsh words for Christian and was then interrupted by Christian.
  • The Young Bucks backstage via The Cutler Cam have an awkward altercation with Hangman and the Dark Order
  • Swerve Strickland def. Tony Nese & Mark Sterling via pinfall
  • After the match, Josh Woods is seen as having taken out Keith Lee in the backstage area
  • House of Black Promo with Brody King challenging Darby Allin to a coffin match
  • Thunder Rosa def. Miyu Yamashita via pinfall with the Fire Thunder Driver to retain the AEW Women’s Championship
  • Daniel Garcia def. Bryan Danielson via ref stoppage with the Sharpshooter
