Khabib Nurmagomedov Recently Doubled Down On Retirement

‘The Eagle’ Even Stopped Cornering Fighters

At the beginning of the year, Khabib Nurmagomedov surprised many by declaring his full withdrawal from the MMA world. Despite gaining recognition as a coach in successive fights, 'The Eagle' has yet to return to coaching, choosing to focus on his family instead. In February, Makhachev secured a victory over Volkanovski, a feat Nurmagomedov acknowledged.

Responding to fans questioning his absence from ringside, he explained on Instagram, “If you guys ask me where have I been? Why wasn’t I in the corner, I already answered this question. I don’t go to fights, I don’t go to the corner and I completely left everything related to MMA. I ask you to accept my decision the same way as my brothers, friends and sparring partners did. What our team achieved will forever be in the history of MMA.”
