Brock Lesnar squared off against Bobby Lashley in the second match of the night at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. This was a heavy-hitting bout from the very beginning with the two men going back and forth and giving each other their best shots. Lesnar and Lashley unloaded on each other with their finishers, not taking a breath, and almost pinning each other repeatedly in the first few minutes of the action. But, when Lashley finally applied the Hurt Lock finisher, Lesnar had to resort to a low blow to get out of the hold which resulted in a disqualification.
Lesnar went on offense early and laid in the heavy artillery. He almost got Lashley. Then Lashley hit a couple of spears and almost got Lesnar. When he tried to apply the Hurt Lock, Lesnar countered for an F5. Lashley kicked out. More offense from Lesnar and a spear by Lashley allowed him to apply a Hurt Lock. Lesnar hit a low blow and got disqualified when he couldn't break the hold. Lesnar F5'ed the ref out of frustration and then Lashley for good measure. Lesnar dragged Lashley outside and cleared the announcer's table to deliver an F5.
Interesting Booking By WWE
This was an interesting decision by WWE. The fans hated it at first, but when Lesnar snapped the crowd quickly hopped back on Lesnar's side. He's sure to get suspended and the question will be if he could have won had he not resorted to a low blow.
Another question coming out of this match is who bray Wyatt will target now. On Friday SmackDown, he said he would challenge whoever walked away from this match. While Lesnar didn't win, and will likely be suspended, it was he who walked away. Will Wyatt target the winner? Or, will he target the survivor? Those are two very different things.
