Saudi Arabian star Mansoor is quietly building up one hell of a winning streak, but WWE hasn't even mentioned it.
Streaks are always a big deal in any sport, and wrestling has the luxury of being able to dictate how long or short a streak is. Some of wrestling's more iconic streaks include The Undertaker's at WrestleMania, Goldberg in WCW, and Asuka between NXT and her debut on the main roster. However, there is one being built right now in WWE that no one seems to be talking about.
Mansoor is the owner of the streak. A Saudi Arabian Superstar who many of you might not have seen outside of his appearances on WWE's super shows in the Middle East. Mansoor has not only won every WWE match he has wrestled in his home country, but he hasn't lost a single match since August 2019.

That last loss was a battle royal in NXT, but it wasn't televised. You have to go back another nine days for Mansoor's last loss on television. A singles defeat to Damian Priest. Since then, Mansoor has racked up 27 wins on TV, and 46 in total. However, WWE seems reluctant to boast about it. It doesn't seem to have been mentioned on TV or even social media at all.
In fact, Mansoor hasn't even appeared on a flagship WWE show since Super Showdown over a year ago. The majority of his wins since then have been on Main Event and 205 Live. He appears on both shows regularly, always winning. Recent wins include pinfall victories over Akira Tozawa, Angel Garza, and Drew Gulak. The assumption is this is being done to appease the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the team WWE works with in the Middle East.
That is something WWE needs to do now more than ever. The company's deal with the country dictates that it stage two shows per year in Saudi Arabia. However, the pandemic has prevented that from happening. There was a report this week that WWE is hopeful it will return to the Middle East before the end of 2021. Until then, Mansoor can keep winning on WWE's minor shows. It keeps Saudi Arabian fans happy but doesn't require WWE having to shine a spotlight on it or have Mansoor defeat anyone too important.
