WWE released a number of Superstars from NXT and its main roster last week, Dolph Ziggler, Matt Riddle, and Aliyah among them. Also on the list of cuts was Mansoor, more recently one-half of Maximum Males Models, but before that a Superstar WWE would shine a spotlight on for its shows in Saudi Arabia. That's because Mansoor is from Saudi Arabia, and it might also be why for an extended period in WWE, he went on quite the winning streak.
Not Allowed To Lose
Shortly after his release, Mansoor took to Twitch to fill fans in on some inside information from his time with WWE. Among the details Mansoor revealed was for an extended period, he wasn't allowed to lose. "I found out that I wasn’t allowed to lose. Vince [McMahon] decreed that I wasn’t allowed to lose," Mansoor revealed during the stream (via Essentially Sports).

"I can’t even be in a tag match where I don’t get pinned. I can’t even be in a triple threat where I lose by someone else getting pinned. I am not allowed." Even though Mansoor lost a lot of matches in WWE before going on his winning streak, and even after his first big win on a PLE in Saudi Arabia, the winning streak he wound up on was a long one. Over the course of nearly two years, Mansoor wrestled more than 50 matches, not losing a single one.
More Than 50 Matches Unbeaten
Mansoor revealed his winning streak eventually came to an end thanks to backlash from the WWE Universe. Once fans cottoned on to what was happening, particularly when Mansoor started to appear on TV more often, McMahon caved and eventually had him lose. Whether the boss had to run that by the Saudi Arabia Sports Authority first, or if he simply explained the next time he spoke with them, is unclear.
Even though Mansoor didn't specifically say it was WWE's deal with Saudi Arabia that got him more than 50 wins on the bounce, a request like that from WWE's Middle Eastern partners wouldn't be unheard of. It has been rumored in the past that the authority has requested wrestlers such as Ultimate Warrior and Yokozuna appear on WWE's cards in their country, two wrestlers who passed away long ago.
It's a shame Mansoor has been released. Despite Saudi input allegedly affecting the results of his matches, I'm a firm believer in as many countries as possible being represented on WWE's roster. With rumors swirling that some of the releases might be hired back in the future, I also wouldn't be surprised to see Mansoor return should those in charge in Saudi Arabia request it.
