Despite the Casket match only appearing on WWE television every few years or so, 2K decided to include the match type for players to enjoy for the first time since its brief appearance in the 2K15 Showcase Mode. Just like other matches in the game, players will need to beat their opponent until they can open the casket and toss them into it by completing a button-mashing minigame.
In the meantime, players can also use the casket as a type of weapon by throwing someone onto it or powerbombing them on the lid. This match would be the perfect way to end a long and intense rivalry in Universe Mode.
