WrestleMania 37 tickets were initially scheduled to go on sale today. But on Monday, the company announced that they were pushing back the release date.
The two-night show - slated to take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida - is now less than four weeks away, but WWE obviously isn't worried in the slightest. They know the show is going to sell out, regardless of when the tickets go on sale.
Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed a possible reason for the delay on Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Andrew Ravens of WrestlingNews.co). It was suggested that Vince McMahon will look to "go for the full stadium".
Raymond James Stadium has a capacity of 65,890. Previous reports stated that WWE is looking to host 45,000 fans for both nights of WrestleMania. Before that, the company was reportedly hoping to have upwards of 30,000 spectators.
So could WWE really go from around 30,000 to 45,000 to a full crowd? Only time will tell.
Back in the fall, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis lifted restrictions which allowed sports teams to open their venues to full capacity. No professional sports team in Florida has gone through with that, however, instead allowing an extremely limited number of fans at their games.

Raymond James Stadium hosted Super Bowl LV between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs on Feb. 7. The attendance for that game was reported to be 24,835.
WWE hasn't had any fans in attendance for an event since the March 11, 2020 episode of NXT amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. It's unclear when the company will start bringing back fans to shows after WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 37 Will Be An Exciting Event Either Way
Regardless of how many fans are allowed, this show is shaping up to a thriller. The WrestleMania card should be filled with quality matches, and having tens of thousands of fans in attendance will make it that much more entertaining for the superstars and WWE Universe.
