A runaway kid is frozen when the experimental zeppelin he has taken control of crashes at the North Pole in 1939; while in 1984, a US Air Force captain is launched aboard a one-man exploration starship Olympus IX and is frozen as well by a freak mishap running into a frozen meteorite storm. The two are thawed out by Earth people hundreds of years later in 2491 A.D. The two are introduced to life on Earth and across the Solar System of the 25th Century.
