While Ricochet continues to try and find his place in WWE and become the star a number of fans think he can and should be, he's not sure he wants to cross a road a lot of performers do to get themselves over and show another side of themselves.

While talking with Ryan Satin on Episode 36 of Out of Character, Ricochet was asked about his promo work and if he ever considered turning heel. Satin noted that this is a move many stars will make when trying to show the fans and management a different side of their personality. Ricochet noted that he tried things like wearing jeans and being a bit more gritty, but he doesn't see a heel turn in the cards for himself, at least not yet.

He noted that his current character is one that goes out there week after week to tell the prominent heels on each brand that he's there to knock them down a peg. Saying he doesn't care how big Roman Reigns, Sheamus or guys like Drew McIntyre are, he's a smaller performer that isn't afraid to hit someone in the teeth.

The idea that Ricochet would turn heel while he's trying to get this side of his character over didn't seem to occur to him and it didn't seem to make sense for him storyline-wise.

Will Ricochet Ever Turn Heel?

Some characters just have a hard time flipping that switch. There is a good chunk of the fan base that sees Ricochet like they see Rey Mysterio in that he's never going to make for a good heel, so why bother? Down the road, who knows. For now, it sounds like Ricochet agrees.

There's no heel turn in the cards for Ricochet so let's hope WWE gives him a shot as a babyface.
