Reports making their way around the rumor mill late Monday night are that WWE's move of WrestleMania to the WWE Performance Center in April is just a smokescreen for a bigger play. In fact, as per these reports, WWE has no intention of holding WrestleMania at the Performance Center, ever.

Take this rumor as nothing more than just a rumor at this point but, the @fightoracle account on social media is reporting that WWE has no intentions of actually producing WrestleMania out of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. In fact, this report suggests the announcement is merely a bluff by WWE in an attempt to appease insurance providers who are demanding WWE find another alternative to the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay.

As wild as the idea sounds, this account is suggesting that WWE's insurance policy says they have a duty to mitigate damages (in this case finding a new venue) and that WWE announced the Performance Center as that new venue to receive their insurance payout. The real thought behind the scenes is that WWE believes Orlando will shut down WrestleMania at the WWE PC as well and Vince McMahon will have to postpone the show. At least, this is what WWE wants.

Once WWE has successfully shown they tried to move the event's location and not take a complete loss, the company will get its insurance payout, which then frees them up to move WrestleMania to June 7 and Madison Square Garden (MSG).

There's no way to know if June 7 is still too soon to have fans in the building but this account is reporting WWE is hoping two months is a big enough window.

What's The Likelihood Of This Happening?

Still, this account is noted by many insiders to have been correct on some pretty big rumors in the past. Maybe they have some inside information that no one else does.
