Seth Rollins has indicated his relationship with Jon Moxley isn't what it used to be. The former WWE Universal Champion made his debut as a member of The Shield alongside Moxley, then Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns in 2012 and their chemistry was quite remarkable.

The Shield is likely to go down as one of the best factions in WWE, with all three members also attaining success on an individual front. At the moment, Moxley is plying his trade with All Elite Wrestling while Reigns has been away from WWE for several months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moxley famously criticized WWE on multiple occasions after leaving the company for AEW last year and still takes jabs from time to time. Rollins hardly appreciated his former colleague's comments.

"I think it's a little presumptuous of him to get on a podcast and talk down about the company that gave him such an opportunity," he said in response last year.

Speaking to Bleacher Report in a recent interview, however, Rollins revealed things are better between them.

"We still talk from time to time," he said. "I would love to see what he's doing or how he's doing or whatever. When his wife [Renee Young] got sick, obviously I checked in on him to make sure he was doing OK and the dogs were good and all that good stuff."

As for Reigns, The Monday Night Messiah completely understands his friend's decision.

"He's got five kids now. He's a busy dude," he noted. "It's not that he's sitting at home taking his time off. He's working in a different way. As expected-father-to-be later this year, I can't imagine having five little crazies running around at once, so kudos to him and his wife for what they're doing. But he's doing good and he's healthy. You see him on social media. He's working out, he looks like he's in the best shape he's ever been."

Will We Ever See The Shield Again?

It's nice to know Seth and Jon are back on good terms, although they probably don't communicate half as much as they used to when the latter was on the WWE roster.

If you're holding out hope for a Shield reunion at some point in the future, you'd be forgiven for it. There will always be a possibility.
