WWE continues to add more matches to the WrestleMania 36 card, announcing a six-pack challenge in which Bayley will defend the SmackDown Women's Title.
Prior to this week's SmackDown, seven matches had been confirmed for WrestleMania 36. There's also the promise of an eighth coming this Monday on Raw as Randy Orton returns, presumably to accept Edge's challenge for a Last Man Standing match. Some fans might have assumed with the limited WrestleManiaWWE will be forced to stage this year, an eight match card split across two days might be all we get.

On SmackDown, that was proved to not be the case. Probably for the best since two of the biggest matches announced feature Brock Lesnar and Goldberg so likely won't last all that long. Bayley and Sasha Banks were hoping their services would not be required for this year's WrestleMania, but Paige confirmed that will not be the case on Friday night.
Paige's announcement was interrupted by Banks and Bayley midway through the show. After being insulted a fair bit by the two Superstars in the ring, Paige relished in breaking the WrestleMania news. The Brit named who Bayley will have to defend her title against on either April 4 or April 5, 2020. Not one, not two, but five other women.
Bayley and Banks laughed as Paige named Lacey Evans, and then kept it up when she added Dana Brooke. The addition of a third name, Tamina, had them a little more worried, and by the time the former GM reached name number four, Naomi, the pair was absolutely livid. The cherry on the cake was the final addition, The Boss herself. WWE has listed the six-pack challenge as an elimination match, so it seems highly likely it could come down to Banks and Bayley.
WWE needs to tread carefully when it comes to adding matches to the WrestleMania card. Assuming the world will be in a place where there can be any sort of WrestleMania at all is a massive assumption as it is. The world is literally changing day by day. The addition of a match that will include six Superstars might seem naive to some. Plus, with an odd number of matches to split across two days, chances are we have at least one more match announcement to come.
