For the masses of wrestling fans out there, it actually doesn’t take much for the true greats to get over. As many superstars will tell you, once you’re over, you’re generally staying over for the duration of your career if you keep putting in the work. These are the kind of superstars that can not only get themselves over in any crowd, but they can get nearly any item over as well, just by the wrestler's unmatched charisma.

It doesn’t matter how big or how small any particular wrestling item is, sometimes not only can a superstar get it over, but the item in question gets certain superstars even more over with the fans than they were in the first place.
10 Head
Al Snow has always been known as a solid worker who can have a great match with anyone. But during the early nineties, nothing he was doing was getting over with the crowd. Whether it was the masked ninja Avatar or the loopy Leif Cassidy, the WWE crowd just wasn’t getting into ol’ Al. So he headed over the ECW to see what Paul Heyman could do with him. That’s when he took a mannequin head and started having conversations and even arguments with that the fans started getting invested in the slightly deranged performer.
9 Moppy
Perry Saturn was one of the most technically gifted wrestlers of the late nineties and early aughts throughout all three major promotions, but during this era just being a good worker wasn’t enough to be memorable.

So the former ECW tag team champion started hanging out with a mop - Moppy; much to the chagrin of his lady friend, the vivacious Terri Runnels. Rather than be spurned by an inanimate object with a face, Terri and Raven heaved the poor Moppy into a wood chipper.
8 Pancakes
Even if with all of the accolades that The New Day receives, they still don’t get nearly enough credit for half of the trio’s antics. Namely their innate ability to get any bit of nonsense over. Pancakes for example. The group are all known for being invited talented in the ring and now two-thirds are world champions (is Woods next?). But that doesn’t mean that they can’t be silly and have fun heaving pancakes into the crowd.
7 The Million Dollar Belt
When you can’t beat the WWE championship, you might as well buy the belt if you can afford to. But when Ted DiBiase’s failed bid to buy the WWE title led to it being vacant, The Million Dollar Man did what anyone would do. He commissioned his own title. For years, The Million Dollar title has been sought after by several of DiBiase’s enemies as well as bestowed upon by people DiBiase led into battle. For such a gimmicky title, it has endured the rest of time because of his iconic and how protected it has been.
6 Sting’s Bat
When The Stinger headed into the rafters, heartbroken by WCW doubting his loyalty, he started heading to the ring to challenge others own loyalties, slowly amassing allies. He would hand them a black bat and turn his back on whoever was in the ring with them. When they didn’t take a swing at the Icon, he’d take his bat back give a nod of respect and walk away. While the bat is and was certainly used as a weapon, it also became an indelible part at building Sting in his war against the nWo.
5 V1 Drone
While Jeff has always had the quiet cool charisma to help make the Hardy Boys one of the hottest tag teams of all time, the brains of the outfit has always been Matt Hardy. Without the confines of WWE creative holding them back, Matt Hardy was able to unleash The Broken Universe to the world.

One of the more wild aspects of the entire Broken Universe was the emissary of House Hardy - Matt’s V1 Drone. The drone named after Hardy’s Version 1 Smackdown character, V1 would head to the home or domicile of whomever Matt was facing to deliver messages on behalf of The Broken Man.
4 Sledgehammer
During an era that just about every superstar was using a steel chair or a table or a ladder to inflict major damage on their opponents, Triple H knew it would behoove him to do something different than your standard fare and somehow was able to find a sledgehammer underneath the ring that some poor hapless member of the ring crew must’ve left there. It almost immediately became a part of Triple H and even his wardrobe incorporated skulls and sledgehammers instead of crossbones.
3 Mr. Socko
For a long time, Mick Foley has credited Vince McMahon’s delivery of “Socko” for getting just a silly sock puppet over huge. But as the story goes, one night after Al Snow suggested that Foley use an annoying sock puppet and and McMahon sold it, signs were all over arenas demanding to see Mr. Socko. The comedy bit was able to not only provide fans to get to know the wholesome side of Mick Foley, but also extend the hardcore icon’s career.
2 The List Of Jericho
Out of anyone on this list or in the sport perhaps, no one has the ability to get any random item over more than Chris Jericho.

During his last WWE run as Kevin Owens’ lackey / frenemy, he was able to get over a pen click to have all of his opponents and people who generally annoyed Jericho making the list; what happened to them? That’s something for Jericho to maybe one day comically answer. But when finally made the List Of KO, he got double crossed for his troubles.
1 The Urn
Out of all the ridiculous gimmicks that WWE has ever done, somehow a wrestler claiming to be an undead zombie from beyond the grave derived power from his little ghoulish friend hoisting up an urn and squealing in high pitch intonations. Nearly every aspect of The Undertaker is a hall of fame aspect just because of how “all in” everyone was in naming something work. But it’s the Urn that might be the most iconic prop of not just The Undertaker’s career, but of all of wrestling history.
