The Rock might well be the busiest person on the planet. Even while the rest of the world was gripped by a pandemic, The Great One managed to star in a tonne of new movies. His newest Hollywood venture Red Notice, in which he stars alongside Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds, has already become Netflix's most-watched movie ever. Between Red Notice, Black Adam, Jungle Cruise, and whatever else Rock has going on, it's no wonder he wasn't available for Survivor Series.

The Rock Is The Foundation

While The People's Champ might not have been free to show his face at Survivor Series, he did find time to become Fortnite canon this weekend. The blockbuster game staged The Finale to its second chapter on Saturday. During the event, players were tasked with delving deep into the game's map at which point they came across a character called The Foundation.

The Foundation then proceeded to rescue Jonesy from Sloan, at which point he removed his mask to reveal The Rock's face underneath. The video game version of The Brahma Bull even busted out a People's Eyebrow, just in case anyone playing and watching wasn't absolutely certain. “We flipped the island. Now it’s time to take down the Imagined Order,” The Rock tweeted a few hours after his Fortnite appearance.

The Rumors Were True

It has been rumored for a while that The Foundation was actually The Rock in disguise. Quite a few players recognized his voice, and then others matched up the design on the character's armor to The Rock's iconic tattoos. The former WWE Champion has also hinted that he's The Foundation in a couple of social media posts. It wasn't until the character's mask was removed that it was confirmed.

There has not been any word on Rock's deal with Fortnite developer Epic Games, or if he will be making any more appearances. Since The Foundation didn't meet his maker during Saturday's event, it seems likely he will return. Although The Rock is far from the first famous face to appear in Fortnite, his arrival is somewhat unique. Other stars to have become Fortnite characters, like Ariana Grande and Travis Scott, have appeared as themselves. The Rock's name was never mentioned as he is portraying a recurring character instead.
