The Honky Tonk man was well-nigh unrecognizable in a photo he posted to Twitter this week, having gone full grey since the days of his entertaining promos and highly-rated matches.
One of the most popular wrestlers of yesteryear, the WWE Hall of Famer plied his trade at WWF, WWE and WCW, as well as independent promotions. He resurfaced on social media on Thursday, posting a selfie along with a very interesting message.

"The older you get, the fewer people you trust," it reads.
Far from his swashbuckling and elegantly dapper days, Roy Farris still looks great. Now bearing a fully grey head of hair and a beard to match, it was admittedly difficult to make him out.
Fans likened the former wrestler to some of the most famous white-haired men around - including Kenny Rodgers, Jeff Bridges, and the fictional yet ubiquitous Santa Claus - after seeing the new look.
Now, What Was He Getting At?
The former Intercontinental Champion dropped off the radar following his Hall of Fame induction in 2019 and has undergone a massive change since then. He's 68 now, which is explanation enough. But despite the signs of aging, it's great to see him back somewhere, albeit in still form.
We can't be sure who or what his caption was aimed at, or if it's supposed to mean anything to anyone, but he happens to be correct in suggesting that one gets less trusting with age.
